the guest house location is good, around 10 mins to haymarket. staff wore traditional scottish clothing. alan's nightly scottish music and show about nearby areas was a bonus. breakfast included cereals, toast, cheese, fruit, juice. tea and coffee.
my room was small. the facilities felt very dated. the mattress wasn't comfortable.

the staff was helpful. the location worked well. it was close to many places. the evening music was great and educational. i learned a lot about the area and its history. the free parking helped avoid extra expenses.
the mattress in my room felt old and too soft. this did effect my sleep some.
